It is used in hydrogen deoxygenation, or in the hydrogenation and deoxygenation of inert gases such as nitrogen, carbon dioxide, argon, and ammonia. Its deoxidation mechanism is catalytic hydrogen-oxygen reaction and deoxidation. The catalyst can be used at normal deoxidation temperature, with better effect at elevated temperature, without activation and regeneration, and has the advantages of small bulk specific gravity (0.65~0.73g/ml) and low deoxidation depth (≤0.1ppm), extremely high deoxidation activity (the minimum bed height-diameter ratio is 0.3), high oxygen concentration (up to 2.5%), good heat resistance (no sintering at 500 °C, instant heat resistance to 600 °C) and other notable features.
